Laser protection lens
What are laser protective lenses?
Laser protection lenses, also known as laser window lenses or optical window lenses, are mainly used in YAG Fiber Laser Cutting machines, marking machines, welding machines, engraving machines and other laser equipment. They are used to block or prevent high-temperature spatter, protect focusing lenses, electronic sensors, and semiconductor components, and prevent spatter from splashing onto the lens and causing damage to it. The precision requirements of processing need to be guaranteed by regularly replacing the protective lenses. At the same time, this lens cannot weaken the laser output energy. Mechanical properties such as light transmittance, surface shape accuracy, thickness, parallelism, and base material are important parameter indicators for laser protection lenses.

Follow these easy steps, when cleaning or changing your lens, to help maximize the life and performance of your lens
- Avoid touching coated surfaces of the lens and hold the optic by its sides
- Wear powder-free finger cots or latex gloves when handling
- Do not use any tools or sharp objects when handling the lens or when removing it from its packaging
- Ensure the work surface is clean and free of oils, grease and dirt
- Do not place the lens on hard surfaces as they scratch easily
- Once the optic has been unpacked, carefully place it on the lens tissue in which it was originally wrapped
